Williams, a Formula 1 racing team, has recently announced their partnership with Gulf, a major partner of the team this year. Gulf is known for its iconic blue and orange livery, and Williams has given their fans a chance to vote between four different options. The vote saw over 180,000 people participate in the selection process. The chosen design is a slightly modified version of Gulf's famous racing colors that McLaren ran in the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix.

Williams will run the new livery at three F1 races in Singapore, Japan, and Qatar later this year. The Dark blue Williams livery will remain on the car until the Singapore Grand Prix, after which it will carry the "Bolder than Bold" look for three consecutive races. Additionally, Williams Racing will feature the Gulf livery on its car for its show runs at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 13th to 16th.

The team's boss James Vowles said that this competition was an excellent opportunity for fans to actively engage with the visual identity of the Williams Racing team. He further added that the winning design encapsulates the essence of the partnership between Gulf and Williams Racing, reflecting on the past while building toward the future. The new livery is expected to create a defining moment when it takes to the track later in the season.
